Okay, I did say I’d be talking about gaming in the next few posts but this is a little life-inspired aside; on the topic of SUBJECTIVITY and OPINION

I’d like to think that I’m capable of communicating my opinions without sounding overly oppressive…
I’d like to believe that I don’t come across as though I’m trying to change your life to suit my own ends,
I’d like to imagine that you don’t feel threatened when I have an opinion

I don’t like being imposed upon, I’m not exactly rebellious but I refuse to have beliefs thrust upon me, be they religious or otherwise

I don’t ask that you change your physical appearance for me, or anyone else for that matter - while I may voice strong opinions on most styles of clothing or looks

So I ask that you don’t do it to me,
I ask that you don’t push a magazine-fake opinion about appearance onto me.
If you’re trying to hint that you are attracted to me in some way and you just have minor preferences, then come out and say it, though I highly doubt this is the case.
Don’t put this opinion of yours onto me and then recoil in horror when I don’t submit, and when it annoys me a little - and certainly don’t turn that back on me to make out that I’m in the wrong.

It’s very, very simple
and I hope you as readers can appreciate the arguement I’ve just put across
